CLINICAL EVIDENCE

From scientific discovery to human evidence.

Two published randomised, placebo-controlled clinical trials evaluated VMK223 at 500 mg/day over 12 weeks and reported significant findings in selected inflammatory biomarkers and instrumentally measured skin parameters. Other research has explored metabolic outcomes using a multi-ingredient formulation, while consumer evaluations describe experience with finished products.

The two standalone VMK223 trials are shown separately from the Beteri combination trial and uncontrolled Y SKIN/Y GUT evaluations. Trial summaries refer to the preparations and study designs identified. Published studies: University of Roehampton research funded by veMico Ltd; consumer studies: internal technical reports.
Percentage reduction in CRP and IL-6 from baseline in VMK223 and placebo groups at week 12
Motei et al. — within-group changes calculated from published means; p-values refer to separate between-group comparisons.
Measured skin improvement outcomes from baseline in VMK223 and placebo groups at week 12
Pipino et al. — instrumental outcomes measured at week 12; full results and methods in the original publication.

CONSUMER EXPERIENCE

Consumer experience with finished products.

The Y SKIN and Y GUT sensitive consumer evaluations explored self-reported experiences with finished products in open-label, uncontrolled studies.

Y SKIN

In a 30-day consumer evaluation, 84% of 73 respondents completing both surveys reported healthier, more radiant-looking skin.

Y GUT sensitive

In a 30-day consumer evaluation, 82% of 62 participants completing the study reported improved perceived gut function with a formulation combining VMK223 and GOS.
