Privacy Notice

This notice explains how veMico Ltd handles personal information when you visit our website or contact us about our ingredient technology, research, formulation or commercial partnerships. Last updated: 4 November 2026.

1. Who we are

veMico Ltd (company number 11461651, registered in England and Wales) is the controller of personal information used for this website's business enquiries and professional relationships. Registered office: Amelia House, Crescent Road, Worthing, West Sussex BN11 1RL, United Kingdom.

For questions or to exercise your data protection rights, contact info@vemico.co.uk.

2. Information we collect

When you use our online enquiry form, we collect the details you supply: enquiry category, first and last name, company, business email address and message, together with any optional job title and country/market. We also record your acknowledgement that you have read this Privacy Notice. If you email us directly or continue a conversation, we process the correspondence and contact details you provide.

Our Wix-hosted website and its technical services may also process IP addresses, device/browser details, request records, session identifiers and security information needed to operate and protect the site and its enquiry form. Certain website functions use cookies and browser local storage. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Please do not include sensitive health details or other unnecessary special-category information in a business enquiry.

3. How we use information and our lawful bases

Our legitimate interests include responding to requested enquiries, evaluating potential commercial relationships and maintaining information security. We balance those interests against individuals' rights and reasonable expectations.

4. What happens when you submit an enquiry

Our website uses Wix Forms to collect, process and store online enquiries. The submission is made available to authorised veMico personnel and triggers an internal notification email. Wix also sends an automatic acknowledgement to the email address supplied in the form, with the sender shown as veMico Ltd and a reply-to address of info@vemico.co.uk. Follow-up correspondence may be held in our Google Workspace business email service.

The checkbox accompanying the form acknowledges that you have read this notice. It is not permission to subscribe you to marketing.

5. Marketing

We do not use enquiries to subscribe people to marketing lists, and we do not send promotional or newsletter emails through this website. We may respond to the specific enquiry and continue a requested professional discussion.

6. Our service providers and data sharing

Access to enquiry information is restricted to appropriate veMico personnel and service providers. We use Wix to host the site and operate the enquiry form and form-related email automations, and Google Workspace for business email and correspondence. We also use Google-hosted font resources for website typography. Our technical providers may process limited network and device information when delivering these services. We may share information with professional advisers or competent authorities where lawfully required.

We review the service providers and technical features used by our website as our arrangements change.

7. International transfers

Some service providers operate internationally. Where UK personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we assess and rely on an applicable UK adequacy arrangement or appropriate transfer safeguards, as required. Contact us for further information about safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

8. How long we retain information

Business enquiries that do not lead to an ongoing relationship are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact, subject to an earlier deletion request or a justified reason to retain them longer. Records relating to an active commercial relationship may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for that relationship and relevant legal, contractual or regulatory obligations. Platform security logs and other technical records are subject to the provider's applicable retention arrangements.

We are working to apply the same retention and deletion-review approach to relevant Wix submissions, Wix Contacts records and Google Workspace correspondence.

9. Your rights

Subject to the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection to processing based on legitimate interests and, where applicable, data portability. You may contact info@vemico.co.uk to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity.

10. Questions and complaints

Contact info@vemico.co.uk with any concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

11. Changes to this notice

We review this notice when the website, suppliers, data processing or applicable legal requirements change. The date above indicates the latest revision.
