Dr. Jelena Vulevic, PhD

A microbiologist with 25+ years of experience in developing and commercialising microbiota therapies for gut, immune, and brain health. Jelena has led R&D, scientific marketing, and business development at Clasado Biosciences, driving cross-functional collaborations and stakeholder engagement. She holds a degree from the University of London and a PhD in Human Gut Microbiology from the University of Reading, UK, funded by the World Cancer Research Foundation.

Dr. George Tzortzis, PhD

With over 25 years in biotechnology and gut microbiology, George specialises in developing compounds that enhance microbiome functionality and human health. He has held leadership roles as Chief Scientific Officer at Clasado Biosciences and Chief Innovation Officer at HOST Therabiomics. An inventor on 10 patent families, he holds a degree from the University of Athens, an MSc in Food Biotechnology, and a PhD in Glycobiotechnology from the University of Reading, UK.
